Dino Melaye supports Davido

Nigerian Senator Dino Melaye has firmly stood behind Davido amidst the ongoing music war on social media, rating him as the top artiste in the Nigerian music industry.

Recently, the internet was abuzz with controversy after Wizkid jokingly shaded Davido with a video of the singer begging and crying.

In a similar fashion, Wizkid stylishly took a shot at music executive and producer Don Jazzy in response to a fan mentioning Don Jazzy’s signee, Ladipoe, who had called him out.

Since then, many netizens and celebrities have either criticised the act or supported Wizkid with evidence.

In a more recent development, Nigerian Senator Dino Melaye has taken the side of the “OBO” crooner, Davido.

He expressed his support for Davido by stating that, he is the top musician in Nigeria and the most popular Nigerian artist globally.

Melaye wrote on his Instagram page while sharing a photo of the singer; “Davido is UNDOUBTEDLY the 001 in the Nigerian music industry and UNDEBATEABLY the most patronised globally.” SDM
