Davido denies COZA advert

Popular Nigerian musician, Davido, has publicly denied any involvement with the Commonwealth of Zion church, COZA, after he appeared in a video advert for the church.

He said that he didn't grant consent to any advert on behalf of the church.

The 30 billion gang leader took to twitter to drop a disclaimer against such involvement and labelled it as a "fraudulent act extremely disrespectful act."

Davido, however,dropped a not of warning which states that, "I will mist certainly be proceeding further if you do not retract the video immediately!!!"

The disclaimer reads: "I'm writing to quick disclaim viral videos going rounds of me advertising for COZA event to come up I want to say I have NOTHING whatsoever to do with the church !!! The fact I did a quick video for a kid introduced as a fan just for her personal use and it was chopped up and used for such an advert extremely disappoints me. It is fraudulent and extremely disrespectful!!! I have never and most certainly am not associated in any way with COZA church and have reached out to those responsible for this madness immediately !! I will most certainly be proceeding further if you do not retract that video immediately !!! A word is enough!!!

COZA has been the topic of discussion in recent times after the wife of popular musician, Timi Dakolo, Bukola Dakolo, accused the church's pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo for raping her.

The case was however dismissed in the court.
