Cynthia Morgan makes comeback to music after 5-year hiatus

Cynthia Ikponmwenosa Morgan, popularly known by her previous stage name Cynthia Morgan has made a comeback to the music scene after a 5-year hiatus.

She was recently in a video with close buddy and popularly associated act, Jhybo.

Apparently, they released a new song together titled "Number One Lover."



Morgan now by the name Madrina is set to make a comeback to the music scene again.

According to reports, the songstress had a breakdown as she was really sick for a while and also going through a lot of family issues.

In a recent interview, She explained that although she tried to get back into the studio, it just really wasn’t it and all these affected her career negatively.

Madrina came to limelight with Jhybo on the track "Ejo Le Fe ro." A massive track in 2010 had the "German Juice" crooner with her signature red hair.

They are back again with a return on this new track, however, her signature red hair is no more.



In 2018, it was reported that Cynthia was in trouble over unpaid rent and tax evasion.

The report has it that she was charged to an Ikeja High Court over her inability to pay the rent of her Omole apartment.

On the same day, she was served with the court papers, she was also allegedly served papers for evading tax to the tune of N3.584 million.

Cynthia Morgan shot into limelight following the release of two singles titled “Don’t Break My Heart” and “Lead Me On”, which received massive airplay and positive reviews from critics.
