Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, Muhammad Shehu Dalijan has described the organisers of the upcoming revolution as criminals, bandits, illegal miners, armed robbers and unemployed youths.
In an interview with the press, Dalijan noted that those who organized the famous EndSARS protest are the same people spearheading the nationwide demonstration.
Aggrieved Nigerians are set to embark on a protest themed ‘Days of Rage Revolution,’ which will commence at the end of July and continue through August. This protest aims to register displeasure and put an end to bad governance.
According to him, this protest will be joined by various forces, including militants, Boko Haram, ISIS, among others.
He raised concerns over the decision to embark on a protest against the federal government led by President Bola Tinubu.
He said, “We are suffering from bandit attacks in the villages. If the cities are also shut down, it means the whole society is shut down.
I want to make it clear that most of the people calling for this protest are criminals, bandits, illegal miners, armed robbers and unemployed youths.
Those who organized EndSARS are still part of the group trying to organize this protest against the federal government.
They will be joined by other forces; militants will join, Boko Haram will join, and ISIS will see an opportunity to come in.
We have no reason whatsoever to go and start carrying placards against the government.”
