Court to continue Igboho's hearing today

Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho, will continue his hearing today, Friday, July 23 at the court of Appeal in Benin Republic.

The Yoruba activist has been charged for obtaining a Benin passport without being a citizen.

After the court hearing on Thursday, Igboho was returned to the custody of Brigade Criminelle in Cotonou, Benin Republic. However, his wife was released.

His lawyer is optimistic things would turn positive, although refused to speak on the case.

He said; “This is not the best time to say anything on the case”.
