A Federal High Court ruling which suspended Adams Oshiomhole as the national chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, has been set aside.

The Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday ruled that Oshiomhole should stop parading himself as the APC chairman.

Justice Danlami Senchi had ruled following an application of interlocutory injunction filed seeking Oshiomhole's removal.

The ruling also faulted the decision of the party to keep Oshiomhole as chairman after he was suspended by the state chapter of the party.

Challenging the ruling, Oshiomhole proceeded to the court of appeal to seek a stay of execution of the judgement.

An appeal filed by him before a Justice Lewis Allagoa-led court in Kano State has seen the ruling by the Federal High Court set aside.

The court also ordered the police, the Department of State Service, DSS, to provide security of the APC chairman.
