Nigerian celebrity auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna who is popularly known as (IVD) has been discharged and acquitted of complicity in the death of his late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna.

His partner, Blessing CEO, disclosed this in a post on Instagram as she encouraged her followers to leave toxic marriages or relationships.

IVD was cleared on Monday, December 15, 2025, after a three-year battle with Bimbo’s family, who had accused him of causing her death.

“If marriage or relationship no Dey work please run ooooooo, run oooooo, don’t wait for anybody to pass. Run,” she stated.

Bimbo died in October 2022 after sustaining injuries from a fire incident linked to domestic violence at their Lagos residence.

In March 2023, IVD was arraigned by the Lagos State Government and charged with involuntary manslaughter, before being released on bail.

He was later rearrested on August 1, 2025, while travelling to Qatar ahead of his wedding with Blessing CEO by the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecutions.
