Coronavirus contractors protest in Abuja

There is tension in Abuja as contractors that supplied coronavirus medical equipment and items to the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) are protesting partial payment of money owed them since 2019.

They are blocking the entrance gate of the FCT Minister, causing gridlock and preventing vehicles from gaining access to the FCTA secretariat.

As at the time of publishing, there has not been any reaction form the Government.

Government or their representatives have not addressed the issue or address the protesters.
