The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc has postponed its board meeting to further notice.

In a notice filed by the firm to the Nigerian Stock Exchange, it blamed the postponement of its board meeting on its failure to provide the 2019 audited financial statement on time.

It also added that the auditing process was disrupted by the impact of the deadly COVID-19 virus.

Hence its decision to postpone the board of directors meeting scheduled to hold on 8th April 2020, in Lagos to further notice.

NAHCO stressed that the closed period will stand regardless.

"The closed period declared by the Company from 12th March 2020 will continue until 24 hours after the 2019 audited financial statements is released to the Market. Accordingly, all insiders have been advised not to directly or indirectly deal in the shares of the Company in any manner during the closed period," the statement read.
