As the Supreme Court affirmed President Bola Tinubu as the winner of the February 25 presidential election, several people have taken to social media to congratulate him.

In the ruling of the apex court that took place in Abuja on Thursday, the appeal of Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, challenging the Tribunal judgment was dismissed, as the court said it lacked merit.

The Supreme Court also ruled that the non-availability of election results on the INEC Result Viewing (IReV) portal is no ground for the nullification of the February 2023 presidential election.

Reacting to the verdict, Femi Fani-Kayode, the former Aviation Minister and the member of the All Progressives Congress, took to his X page moment after the judgment was read in favour of Tinubu to congratulate the President.

He wrote; "Congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT) for a great victory at the Supreme Court."

Some presidential aides stormed the Aso-Rock Villa to congratulate President Tinubu after the Supreme Court affirmed him as winner of the February election.

A video making rounds showed some aides in Tinubu office showering him with praises moment after the judgment was delivered.

In response, Tinubu said "your job is secured", causing the aides to burst into laughter.
