Apostle Harrison Ayintete of The Goodness Nation church has corrected OAP Daddy Freeze, who stated in an interview that Jesus is the Lucifer commonly known in Christianity as Satan.

Daddy Freeze made the claim while speaking with journalist Chude, saying he made the discovery while reading his Latin Bible.

According to him, he discovered translational changes that propelled him into research that opened his eyes to the discovery he now speaks of.

He said, "Christ is the Lucifer. I was reading 2 Peter 1:19 and Peter was talking about Christ and he used the word Lucifer in Latin. So, I went to my English Bible and it was translated as Morning Star and it was translated as Day Star in some versions. Adn I said, you know what? Let me do some investigation on this'.

"Do you know that the word Lucifer was used four times in the Latin Bible. Twice in the Book of Job - talking about God's power and prayer, once on 2 Peter 1:19 - that's the only one in the New Testament, and one in Isaiah 14:12 - that spoke of the king of Babylon, 'Oh how you have fallen from Heaven, Lucifer.'

"Do you know that by the time it moved to English, they only kept 'Oh, how you have fallen from Heaven.' All the other three translations had been changed. So, I said let me start doing some research and I stumbled on a video on YouTube of the Pope's Easter Mass, where you hear them singing 'Luchifer', they do it every year. The song is called The Extalteth. Knowledge fix a spiritual problem. That's why in the Free Nation Church, after love, the next thing is knowledge. So, you will not go into a church and pray that Lucifer should die in Jesus Name."

Reacting, Apostle Ayintele explained why Daddy Freeze's points are wrong, and urged him to desist from acting like he is knowledgeable about the Bible.

He said on X, "JESUS IS LUCIFER ke? Dear @daddyfreeze you sound really confused on these matters. Semantics is not knowledge, it’s just facade. 1. Jesus is same word as Joshua! 'For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.' Hebrews 4:8 KJV

"The name ‘Jesus’ in this text is actually ‘Joshua’. Now, there is Jesus, there is Bar-Jesus, there is Joshua, there is a footballer called Jesus. Are they the same people? You don’t sound intelligent with the Bible sir. You sound very illiterate actually. Just because I have a freezer in my house doesn’t make that freezer same as Daddy Freeze! Just because two people bear same name doesn’t mean they are the same person!
