A lobbyist in the United States, Mike Arnold, has said the Nigerian government sent a delegation of pathological liars to his country amid concerns about Christian genocide in Nigeria.

MyNigeria reported that a delegation from Nigeria, consisting of the National Security Adviser, Inspector General of Police, and Attorney General of the Federation, among others, visited the U.S recently.

Their mission was to convince the U.S government that there is no Christian genocide in Nigeria, as claimed by President Donald Trump.

One of those who has also been dismissing the genocide claim is Reno Omokri, who has now been named an ambassador.

Arnold, a former associate of Omokri, described all those dismissing the genocide claim as pathological liars, adding that their action is responsible for Nigeria being named among a list of countries restricted from the U.S.

He shared on social media, "Nigerians can't blame Trump for the visa ban. When your government sends a delegation of pathological liars and appoints known scammers to be ambassadors, what do you expect? You reap what you sow."
