Celine Dion has performed her first full concert in more than six years, marking a major return to live performances after her diagnosis with stiff-person syndrome.

The Canadian singer took the stage on Saturday, September 12, at the Plenitude Arena in Nanterre, near Paris.

The sold-out performance opened her planned Paris residency and lasted about two hours and 15 minutes.

Celine Dion performed 25 songs, including some of her biggest hits, before an audience of about 30,000 people.

Dion returns after stiff-person syndrome diagnosis

Celine Dion was diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome in 2022, a rare neurological disorder that can cause muscle stiffness and painful spasms.

The condition affected her ability to perform and eventually forced her to cancel her remaining world tour dates.

Her last full concert was on March 8, 2020, before the COVID-19 pandemic brought her touring schedule to a halt.

Celine Dion later made a brief public singing appearance at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

However, Saturday’s performance represented her return to a complete concert rather than a single-song appearance.
