Bwala tackles Peter Obi over 'poor' quality of boreholes donated to northern community

A former lawmaker, and ex-spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign in 2023, Daniel Bwala has taken a swipe at Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party over the quality of the boreholes he donated to people of Zaria.

He said the boreholes are offensive and that it is “repugnant to natural justice, equity and good conscience”.

Bwala noted that the Water Corporation in Anambra State during Obi’s tenure as Governor was also not in good state.

Peter Obi who was on a tour in 19 states in the northern part of Nigeria made donations which consisted of both cash and provision of basic amenities to communities.

While some praised Obi for his efforts, others condemned him over the outcome of his donations to some communities.

Bwala displeased by one of the boreholes presented to a community wrote on X (formerly Twitter);

“You only need to see @PeterObi water corporation when he was a governor to understand why he sponsored that borehole that is repugnant to natural justice, equity and good conscience.

“That is his style of governance. You cannot give what you don’t have. I am so happy that the demographics he deceived in the 2023 elections are wiser now.”
