A former spokesman for the Atiku Abubakar/Ifeanyi Okowa presidential campaign in the 2023 presidential election, Daniel Bwala has reacted to the viral video that showed the moment President Bola Ahmed Tinubu slipped and fell at Eagles Square.
Tinubu slipped while boarding the presidential parade vehicle as he commemorated his first Democracy Day.
As he approached the vehicle, Tinubu seemed to lose his footing momentarily as he was about to step into the vehicle.
He, however, was helped by members of his security team and continued with the parade.
The video has since gone viral.
Bwala, who recently pledged his allegiance to Tinubu called out Obidients who are mainly supporters of Peter Gregory Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 presidential election for mocking the president.
He described them as "miscreants" for making an issue out of a "nonissue" while sharing an old video of Peter Obi struggling to walk. MyNigeria.com couldn't confirm the authenticity of the video at the time of filing this report.
"Whenever I see these barbaric miscreants making issue out of non issue, I shudder. You want to make an issue out of a simple missteps owing to the @officialABAT presidents shoes stuck in his babariga," Bwala wrote on X.
"Take a look at @PeterObi Pitobi here in the video below falling and had to be assisted, did anybody make an issue out of this?"
"By Gods grace it won’t be long when unsuspecting members of the public’s eyes would be open to realize that these guys are actually IPOB and their sympathizers masquerading as Obidients."
