Simon Ekpa, the self-acclaimed Prime Minister of the secessionist group, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has taken a jab at the Nigerian Army describing the latter as terrorists.
Ekpa, a Finland-based Nigerian has led the charge against the Nigerian state and has sought the exit of what is called Biafraland.
He accused the Nigerian army of killing Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti, the mother of Afrobeat singer, Fela Kuti on April 13, 1978, and invading the home of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu house in 2017 which led to the death of his mother and father.
He attached videos of men wielding guns and shooting indiscriminately to his posts.
"The terrorists who killed Fela's mother in April 13, 1978, are on the run. The terrorists organisation @HQNigerianArmy invaded Fela house in Lagos and killed his mother, the same terrorist after many years, invaded Mazi Nnamdi Kanu house in 2017 and killed his mother and father. When see men with gun, they run like rabbits, their power always come out when they see unarmed woman and children," he said in the post on X.
