Bundesliga: Boniface nominated for Team of the Season

Nigerian striker Victor Boniface has been shortlisted for the Bundesliga Team of the Season, as per reports.

The 23-year-old has enjoyed a remarkable campaign with the newly crowned German champions Bayer Leverkusen since joining the club from Union SG in the summer.

The Super Eagles striker has managed 11 goals and 9 assists in 18 Bundesliga appearances this season despite missing two months of action due to injury.

One goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three attackers will make the team of the season in a 4-3-3 formation.

Boniface faces stiff competition from Harry Kane, Serhou Guirassy, Marvin Ducksch, Jonas Wind, Niclas Füllkrug, Omar Marmoush, Ermedin Demirović, Loïs Openda and Deniz Undav.

The voting will be done by fans, clubs, and experts as per Dailypost.
