Lawyer Malcolm Omirhobo has said that the late former President Muhammadu Buhari was a disappointment who deceived his generation with his presidency.
MyNigeria reported that Buhari died on Sunday at the age of 82 in a London hospital after a prolonged illness.
Reacting, Omirhobo said that despite all that Nigeria gave Buhari, the former president left a legacy of insecurity, hunger, poverty, corruption, debt, and economic woes.
He shared on X, "Buhari's presidency was a disappointment. He scammed my generation, who saw him as a beacon of hope in our youth. When he won the 2015 election, my dad congratulated me, but within a year, I stopped making excuses and openly opposed him. His administration left a legacy of insecurity, hunger, poverty, corruption, debt, and economic woes. Nigeria gave him everything, but he gave nothing in return."
