Buhari's trusted allies with Ikpeazu, Wike in 'strange' meeting

Report indicate the Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River and his Ebonyi counterpart, David Umahi, met with Rivers state Governor, Nyesom Wike on Wednesday, October 26.

It is known fact that both Ayade and Umahi are members of the All Progressives Congress, while Wike is a strong member of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Many wondered why they would be having a closed door meeting with the presence of Abia state Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu.

The details of the meeting were not disclosed but some claims the coming together of these governors would be about the 2023 presidential election.

According to the Cable, the meeting was held in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital, behind closed doors.

However, this will be the first time Wike and Ayade will meet since their fall out.

Recall that Wike and Ayade exchanged words after they failed to reconcile their differences before the latter joined the APC.
