Buhari is not God, I have the right to oppose his ethnic bias - Dele Momodu

Influential media personality and CEO of Ovation International, Dele Momodu has stated that President Muhammadu Buhari is not God, so he (the president) can be criticised for his "ethnic bias".

He wrote this in reaction to a social media commentator's allegation of his support for anyone against Buhari's administration or anyone who made a mockery of the president.

"Mr Dele is in support of anyone who is against this administration. Anyone who is making a mockery of Mr president, anyone who is against the current administration. Yes, we understood that you are a journalist, but you are partial on your content and information, perhaps you have a personal agenda, Sir," the social media commentator said.

Momodu countered the allegation by saying "Very warped mindset ... The president is not God, he is my President and I accord him respect but I have the right to oppose his ethnic bias. That has never stopped me from promoting his work daily."

The exchange ensued after the media personality shared an old video of wanted secessionist leader, Sunday Igboho dancing with the caption "Happiness is FREE... OOSA".
