Buhari and 11 African leaders twice as old as new Bukinabe president

President Muhammadu Buhari and eleven other African President have been recorded to be older than Ibrahim Traore, the new Burkinabe president.

Ibrahim Traore emerged as the president and Supreme Leader of the Armed Forces after staging a coup that ousted his former boss Lt. Col. Sandaogo Damiba.

At the age of 34, Traore, became the world's youngest president, two years behind the democratically-elected Chilean president, Gabriel Boric.

Traore has been noted to be more than twice the age of Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari who is 77-years-old.

Buhari alongside other African President became president at the age of 68 and above.

The youths continue to demand for younger presidents to avoid the health issues accompanied with old age.
