Buhari, Tinubu clash over 2023 election; Jagaban indicts APC govt

The All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu has indicted the ruling party following the recent happening in the country ahead of the upcoming election in February.

President Buhari had earlier said in an interview that there would be no going back on the cash swap which began in October 2022. He noted that three months was enough for people to change their cash through the legal system.

According to him, his aim is to ensure nobody is allowed to mobilise resources and thugs to intimidate people.

Buhari also urged Nigerians to vote for which ever candidate they prefer to lead them.

He said; “This change of currency, I think there will be a lot of money but time has been given, from October to December, three months is enough. Whatever money you have to get it changed through a legal system so I don’t know why people are complaining about it. There is no going back on the policy.

"My aim is to make sure that Nigerians belief we respect them under this administration. So, Nigerians should vote for whoever they like from which ever party. Nobody will be allowed to mobilise resources and tugs to intimidate people in any constituency.”

Reacting to his comment, Bola Tinubu during his campaign speech in Ogun state warned that the ruling government are beginning to play tricks.

Adding that they are prepared to wrestle power even if the government claims there is fuel scarcity, they will trek and and use their PVCs.

“Whether they like it or not, we shall wrestle power from them..Even if they say there is no fuel, we shall trek and use our PVC... They are already playing tricks..."
