The youths bemoaned the incessant harassment, molestation and arrest by the agency's officials.

This protest which began peaceful turned violent and bloody as protestors began to burn over 20 trucks with goods worth millions of naira.

According to reports, the chaos occurred at the Otovwodo junction of Ughelli community, Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state.

It was gathered that more than three youths were allegedly shot by the Nigerian Police officers present at the protest ground.

According to Saharareporters, the victims are currently in a life-threatening condition at an undisclosed hospital in the area where they were taken for treatment.

The protesting youths burnt down trucks loaded with granites, petroleum products and other goods. They were seen chanting war songs as they burnt tyres on the roads.

The protest tagged '#EndEFCC' was said to have started around 11:00 am, which disrupted the movement of vehicles.

Placards with different inscriptions such as "#EndEFCC", "EFCC, leave us alone, we are not criminals", and "Stop the harassment, molestation, intimidation and indiscriminate arrest" were held.

Prior to this protest, the agency announced the arrest of 95 suspected internet fraudsters at Adesa Ughonton and Jedda axis of Warri, on Thursday for alleged cyber fraud in a sting operation.

According to the agency, it seized different brands of exotic vehicles, mobile phones and laptops.

It was alleged that operatives of the commission emptied the bank accounts of persons arrested.
