Blame yourself, not Tinubu for problems in opposition - Omokri tells Obi

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has said that the problems wrong with opposition parties should be blamed on ex-presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

This was after Obi blamed the President Bola Tinubu administration for the crisis rocking major opposition parties like the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party (LP).

Reacting, Omokri recalled that Obi was recently a member of the PDP, moving from the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) before finally settling with LP.

He insinuated that since Obi joined the LP, the party has been facing crisis, with MyNigeria learning that the party now has multiple factions.

In a Facebook post, Omokri said, "Earlier today, Peter Obi, during a question-and-answer session, alleged that President Tinubu's administration was behind the crisis rocking the Labour Party. My question to Peter Obi is this: The Labour Party is Peter Obi's third party since 2003. Who was behind the crisis that drove him from APGA in 2014 and from the PDP in 2022?

"It is said that you are not yet a failure until you start blaming others for your mistakes!

"If Peter Obi was in APGA and there was a crisis in APGA, and he moved to the PDP, and there was a crisis in the PDP. Then he moved to the Labour Party, and there is now a crisis in the Labour Party; then the empirical evidence points to the fact that Peter Obi is the problem, not the parties or President Tinubu."
