Air Peace has apologised to passengers and customers after a bird strike forced its aircraft to make an emergency return to the airport on Thursday morning.
Spokesperson for Air Peace Limited, Osifo-Whiskey Efe, issued a statement to notify the public of disruptions to their operations.
He said, "Dear Esteemed Passengers, We hereby notify you and the flying public of an ongoing flight disruption on our network today.
"This morning, Flight P47100, operating the Lagos-Enugu route, experienced a bird strike and had to make an air return for safety checks.
"We sincerely empathise with our passengers over the inconvenience caused and appeal for your patience and understanding as we work diligently to minimise disruptions.
"Air Peace remains steadfast in upholding the highest safety standards, and the safety of our passengers and crew continues to be our top priority."
