Simon Ekpa, self-acclaim Prime Minister of Biafra, has declared support to Niger Republic following threats by ECOWAS to unleash military intervention if they fail to free Nigerien president Mohammed Bazoum and restore him to power.

Recall that the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), gave Niger junta a 7-day ultimatum to end the coup d'etat or face sanctions.

However, the Niger Republic junta vowed to resist the bluff of ECOWAS and any other foreign influence on the country.

Reacting to the military intervention ECOWAS threaten to unleash on Niger Republic, Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa has declared unwavering support and promised to stand with General Abdourahamane Tiani and other West African country against Nigeria.

According to him, the freedom they fought for is currently what the Biafrans are fighting to liberate themselves from "demonic and bloodsucking demons".

In a video shared on social media, Simon Ekpa said that "if Nigeria attack you, Biafra people will stand shoulder to shoulder with you to fight against Nigeria".

"We have seen many atrocities being committed in our land. The Biafra land for example, where the Nigeria oil is been exploited from.

People died everyday. They don't care about us. It is time we put it to an end and that is what Biafra is fighting for.

My fellow brothers and sisters in other parts of the West Africa who have risen to fight for their own freedom and to liberate themselves from this demonic and bloodsucking demons, I want you to understand that for the freedom of Biafra sake, we will stand shoulder to shoulder with you if Nigeria attack your nation.

Niger Republic if Nigeria attack you, Biafra people will stand shoulder to shoulder with you to fight against Nigeria," Ekpa said.

It was reported that on July 26, a group of soldiers who were positioned to protect the democratically-elected President Mohamed Bazoum of the Niger Republic staged a coup.

Abdourahamane Tiani, a general and head of the presidential guard, went on national television and declared himself Niger’s new head of state.

Explaining his reason for the coup, Tiani said, “bad governance and worsening security”.

According to him, President Bazoum attempted to convince Nigeriens that “all is going well” although, the state of the country is “a pile of dead, displaced, humiliation and frustration”.

This led to ECOWAS Chair, President Bola Tinubu to issue sanctions on the West African country.
