'Benin is the HQ of Obidients' - Applause for Benin people as they 'sack' Oshiomhole during APC rally

Nigerians on social media are still reacting to the stiff resistance from supporters of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi as the campaign train of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) arrived in Benin on Thursday, February 14.

In a video that has been in circulation since last week, Adams Oshiomhole, who led the rally was chased out of the Ring Road, the venue of the rally by a huge crowd who apparently were supporters of the LP candidate.

The surging crowd, otherwise known as ‘Obedients’ chanted Obi! Obi! Obi non-stop as the APC chieftain waved.

It could be recalled that Oshiomhole had in 2022, described the ‘Obidient Movement’ as four persons twitting from one room apartment.
