Benin coach Dussuyer unveils final squad for Super Eagles clash

Benin Republic head coach Michel Dussuyer has finally named his squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of of Nations qualifying double-header against Nigeria and Sierra Leone, reports Completesports.com.

Top stars; Jodel Dossou, Steve Mounie, Saturnin Allagbe, Cedric Hountondji and Emmanuel Imorou were named in the squad.

Olivier Gerdon and Rudy Gestede were however omitted from the list.

Dussuyer also omitted clubless captain Stephan Sessegnon from the list of invited players for the games.

Sessegnon will however be in the team’s camp as ”non -playing captain to boost the morale of his teammates.

Benin occupy second spot in Group L with seven points from four games and will secure a place in Cameroon 2021 with a win against the Super Eagles.
