Journalist Richard Akinnola, former editor of the Vanguard Newspaper, has criticized All Progressives Congress chieftain Joe Igbokwe for taking a swipe at Dele Momodu.
Sharing his encounter with the CEO of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu, Akinnola condemned Igbokwe for attacking Momodu due to his criticisms of President Bola Tinubu’s leadership.
Momodu had written an open letter to President Tinubu, calling for stricter discipline within the administration and warning of severe consequences if the situation is not addressed quickly.
In a recent comment, Igbokwe said Dele Momodu studied Yoruba language at university and is the publisher of a "defunct magazine," so he is in no position to lecture the president on economic policies.
Defending Momodu, Akinnola stated that Igbokwe, who "has never had a single employee in his employ," is in no position to throw dirt at Momodu.
Momodu shared Akinnola's post on his Instagram account and wrote: “Is there no one who can rescue this old man from servitude? Such a pity...”
