Bauchi confirms second coronavirus case

Bauchi State has confirmed its second coronavirus cases on Thursday, according to the state's health commissioner.

Bauchi Commissioner for Health, Dr. Aliyu Maigoro, announced this during a press conference on Tuesday.

He said the second case is a 62-year-old patient.

The PUNCH reports that the Governor is currently in isolation after testing positive for the disease.

The governor said he shook hands and exchanged pleasantries with the son of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Mohammad, who was confirmed positive by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control.
