Bashir Ahmad tackles Kwankwaso over open letter

Personal Assistant on New Media to Buhari, Bashir Ahamd has tackled former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso for writing an open letter to Buhari over the mysterious deaths in the state.

The ex-Governor who was obviously concerned about the recent happenings in Kano wrote to President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) citing loopholes in Ganduje's approach in tackling the matter at hand.

He called for a holistic and coordinated approach to battling the mass numbers of deaths widely linked to COVID-19.

Proferring solutions, he asked Buhari to extend his hand to the state and build more test centres. He asked that the illnesses be viewed first as COVID-19 related and palliatives be provided generously to every resident in the state.

Ahmad who picked offence for the manner the letter was written tackled the ex-Governor over the channel utilised in relaying the message.

"Wait, is this a letter to the President or an open letter to the people of Twitter? I assume H.E. Kwankwaso, as a former Governor, knows better than all of us, how to properly send a letter to the President. Politicize Kano’s issue is the first step taken in the wrong direction," Ahmad asked.
