Nigerian skit maker Abdulgafar Abiola, popularly known as Cute Abiola, has celebrated Barcelona’s La Liga triumph dramatically by designing a customised jersey trolling archrivals Real Madrid.
Barcelona were officially crowned La Liga champions for the 28th time following a convincing 2–0 victory over Espanyol at the RCDE Stadium, with teenage sensation Lamine Yamal once again taking centre stage.
In the aftermath of the win, Cute Abiola took to his social media page (X, formerly Twitter) to showcase a unique jersey that documented Barcelona’s dominant results against Real Madrid this season.
The jersey, designed in Barça colours, featured the accumulated scorelines from the El Clásico encounters across the campaign—culminating in a 16–7 tally in favour of the Catalan giants.
He captioned the post: “Any Barça fan here? I have this jersey for you.”
Barcelona’s path to the title was sealed by Lamine Yamal’s brilliant strike into the top corner and a stoppage-time finish from Fermin Lopez, with both goals ensuring that Hansi Flick's men went seven points clear with two games remaining.
Remarkably, this marks the third time in the 21st century that Barcelona have sealed the title on Espanyol's turf, further compounding the misery for their local rivals.
In 2013, a draw between Real Madrid and Espanyol at the same venue confirmed the title for Barça, while last season, they also clinched the league at RCDE Stadium.
