Back-to-back win will aid Nasarawa United’s ambition – Makama

Captain of Nasarawa United, Emmanuel Makama has stated that the club's recent back-to-back wins in the NPFL have proven to be massive for their ambitions as the team remains third in the league log, two-point behind current leaders, Akwa united.

Speaking in an exclusive chat with Brila.net, Makama said these victories give the Solid Miner a little advantage over teams around them on the table and that they can only continue to work hard to open up more gap and ensure the team hang around the top areas on the league table.

“The winning is very important to us because we needed to win this double home that we have because we know getting these six points is going to take us a lot of places. And moreover, people that are looking for same position most of us have same points not that far fr each other that’s why we needed to give some of the team’s gap.”
