BREAKING: Real Madrid officially win 34th LaLiga title

Spanish giants Real Madrid have officially clinched their 34th LaLiga title after defeating Villareal 2-1 at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano.

Madrid's title win was cemented thanks to Barcelona failure to defeat Osasuna in a game that ended 2-1.

French striker, Karim Benzema, got on the scoresheet twice in the 29th and (P)77th minutes to put the home side in the driving seat.

Although the away team responded with a goal via Vicente Iborra (83'), it wasn't enough to spoil the party for the White Angels.

Madrid's win took them seven points clear of second spot Barcelona, bringing an end to their two-years hold on the trophy.
