BREAKING: Many worshippers killed as terrorists attack Ondo church

Several worshippers have been confirmed dead with many others injured after terrorists attacked a church in Ondo state.

According to reports, the attack happened during Sunday mass at the St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, in Owo Local Government Area.

It was gathered that the church where the incident occurred is behind Olowo of Owo palace.

Videos making rounds showed many congregants including children lying dead on the floor in their own pool of blood.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami, said the command was yet to ascertain the cause of the incident.

“The CP (Commissioner of Police) is on his way to the scene to ascertain the cause of the incident. We have been hearing so many things about it but I will get back to you,” Punch reported.
