Sahara Reporters publisher Omoyele Sowore has revealed that Nastura Sharif who led a protest in Katsina against insecurity has been released.

Nastura Sharif, a leader of the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG), was arrested by security agents after he led a peaceful protest against the incessant killings and kidnappings by bandits in Katsina.

Sowore tweeted: "Katsina Protest leader, Nastura Ashir Sharif, has been released by tyrant @Mbuhari after public pressure #RevolutionNow".
