BREAKING: Abraham Ngobere becomes new Bayelsa Speaker

The Deputy Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Abraham Ngobere, has been confirmed the new Speaker of the Assembly.

This is following the resignation of Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Monday Bubou-Obolo, who stepped down to pave way for Abraham.

This occurred because the Governor Douye Diri is from the same Senatorial District (Bayelsa Central Senatorial District) as the former speaker, Bubou-Obolo.
