Ayu rally Nigerians to vote out APC despite Wike's internal cries

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Iyorchia Ayu has called on Nigerians to desist from dealing with politicians hell-bent on causing division among citizens.

He also urged Nigerians to reject politicians who have mastered the art of giving empty promises that they can't deliver to the people.

Ayu made the comment while delivering his goodwill message at the 8th National Convention of the Catholic Social Forum of Nigeria.

He warned that the present circumstances in the country require Nigerians to think before acting adding that political parties like the All Progressives Congress (APC) offering the same faith ticket to Nigerians should be rejected at the polls.

Ayu stressed that the ruling party who interestingly picked candidates of the same faith have nothing to offer the people rather than a continued show of its insensitivity and divisiveness.

Also speaking at the event, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, the deputy Senate president charged Deltans to vote out the PDP in the state at the 2023 general election.

Omo-Agege who is contesting for the seat of governor in Delta made the call during the official inauguration of the APC campaign organisation in Asaba, the state capital.

As various political parties kick off their 2023 election campaign, the PDP in Rivers state has omitted Atiku's photos on its branded vehicles.

The vehicles, Legit.ng gathered will be used for campaigns in various communities and local government areas across the state.

According to a lawmaker, the fact that the vehicles were branded with PDP colours is evidence of Governor Wike's loyalty to the party.
