A video has surfaced showing the moment members of rival cult groups, originally from Nigeria, clashed in Ghana.
The footage, shared on X by popular Ghanaian influencer @SikaOfficial, captured a violent scuffle at a yet-to-be-identified location in Accra.
“Disturbing footage has surfaced of Nigerian residents in Ghana clashing in violent rival cult fights in Accra, with many Ghanaians calling for immediate investigations and arrests of those involved,” he captioned the video.
In one of the clips, a man who was being mobbed by a crowd was ordered to relinquish his title as Chairman amid chants and aggression.
Another man repeatedly screamed “Aye” as slaps and blows were meted out to the victim.
The Aye Confraternity, also known as the Neo Black Movement (NBM), is a Nigerian cult group that celebrates its Founder’s Day on July 7 every year, popularly referred to as 7/7 Day.
The video has sparked mixed reactions among Ghanaians, with many expressing concern over the activities of Nigerian cult groups in their communities.
