Some members of the Neo Black Movement of Africa (NBM) popularly known as Black Axe have reportedly donated traffic stands to police in Osun State.

Photos of NBM members also known as Aye Cultists posing with police officers is presently making the rounds on social media.

The stands branded with the black and yellow colours and insignia of the cult group have inscriptions condemning social vices.

“NMB of Africa Worldwide say no to: Xenophobia, racism, drug, violence, drinking and driving, drugs, human trafficking,” the inscription read.

Members of the group are famous for their series of gang violence and bloody clash with members of a rival cult group, Eiye Confraternity, in tertiary institutions and other areas within and outside Nigeria, contrary to what the group professes according to information on its website.

“The premise on which the NBM of Africa was formed was intrinsically to check and balance the seeming nuances of inequalities and social injustices that are prevalent with the human race,” the group said on its website www.nbmworldwide.org.

It added that it's founding mantra has remained fighting for equality and social justice for all.
