Spanish La Liga giants Atletico Madrid are reportedly considering the signing of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen this summer.
According to reports, the Rojiblancos are eyeing the Super Eagles striker as possible replacement for Argentine international Julian Alvarez, who has been widely linked with a move away from the Wanda Metropolitano.
Spanish champions Barcelona are leading the race for the signature of the former Manchester City forward.
Premier League title holder Arsenal have also reportedly expressed interest in the 26-year-old.
Atletico Madrid have already rejected Barcelona's €100m bid for Alvarez. However, the Catalan club is expected to submit an improved bid for the World Cup winner in the coming days.
Atleti is expected to pursue the signing of Osimhen, should Alvarez leave the club this summer.
Osimhen will team up with his Super Eagles compatriot Ademola Lookman should the move materialize.
