Human rights lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has said the best that former presidential candidate, Peter Obi, can get in the coming 2027 general elections is a vice presidential candidate slot.

According to him, this is because former vice presidential Atiku Abubakar and the north hold all the aces.

Adeyanju said this amid a coalition talk between Atiku and Obi, who both ran on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party in 2019.

He shared on X, "The best Obi can get in 2027 is Atiku’s VP, this is because Atiku and the northern politicians now hold all the aces. Only northern politicians have the capacity to challenge Tinubu.

"Deluded obidients won’t still be able to read the room even with the clear handwriting on the wall."
