The Senior Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, has slammed Arise TV show host Rufai Oseni over his broadcast on the just-concluded FCT council polls.
The polls ended with the ruling All Progressives Congress winning five seats out of six, and the Peoples Democratic Party winning the sixth seat.
However, while votes were still being counted, Oseni was on TV providing information that has since been seen as lacking credibility.
Kicking against this, Onanuga accused the show host of trying to incite a mob with wrong information.
He wrote on X, "Arise TV should be ashamed of you. Because you want to please the mob that follows you, you are always eager to publish any nonsense, even when clearly so. The result sheet you singled out for your mischief spelt out the APC votes. It showed the total votes recorded at the polling unit. And the votes recorded for APC was not at variance with the total score. I expect you to have outgrown your pathological hatred for our party, since May 2023, when Almighty God gave power to President Tinubu."
