Arise TV journalist, Rufai Oseni has slammed the Buhari-led administration over its failure to tackle the ever-increasing insecurity challenges plaguing the country.

Speaking on Arise TV's morning show on Thursday, July 28, the popular on-air-personality highlighted a number of insecurity issues the government had failed to address despite holding several meetings which have yielded no results.

On President Buhari's visit to Liberia, Rufai scoffed that Nigeria as country has failed in its bid to tackle insecurity, yet offered a solution to another. His reference comes as Buhari promised George Weah, the President of Liberia that Nigeria will help the West African country defeat terrorism.

According to him, banditry has become a lucrative business in Nigeria citing the Abuja-Kaduna train attack as a reference where reports indicate that bandits have so far received a ransom to the tune of one billion naira.

Sharing his thoughts on the current state of the Nigerian economy, he opined that the economy was better in the year 2015 under the previous government than it is today.

According to the broadcaster, the government has failed in its promise to stabilize the naira against other major trading currencies.
