The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu has received knocks after he was greeted with a scanty stadium during his campaign rally in Benin on Sunday, January 8.

As the general election draws near, political parties are moving from state to states to campaign for votes to win the presidential election.

However, some candidates have been hit with scanty campaign grounds as only few people are seen showing support by making an appearance.

Recently, the opposition has taken to social media to mock Bola Tinubu, a major contender for the presidency following the low turn out at the stadium in Benin.

Reno Omokri, a spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party, took to Twitter to share a video of the scanty stadium where Tinubu was seen addressing a few supporters.

He questioned whether Tinubu and Peter Obi are competing for the empty stadium as the Labour Party presidential candidate also met with a scanty stadium in Kogi state during his campaign last year.

This led the Labour Party to announce that they will be halting their campaign in other to re-strategise.

Lately, Peter Obi has been seen holding his rally on other venues aside the stadiums.
