Former presidential aide Reno Omokri has taken a swipe at former governors Peter Obi, Rotimi Amaechi, and Nasir El-Rufai.

In a Facebook post, Omokri slammed Amaechi, who claimed he was "hungry" under President Bola Tinubu, yet proceeded to attend the funeral of former President Muhammadu Buhari in a private jet.

On Obi, who claimed Tinubu has ruined the economy, Omokri pointed out that the bank where he is a major shareholder made three times more profit this year than it did last year.

He further stated, "Nasir El-Rufai says Nigerians have rejected President Tinubu only for his firstborn son, Bello El-Rufai, to endorse President Tinubu for a second term.

"Rauf Aregbesola says he will lead Osun State to reject Tinubu, only for the Osun State PDP-controlled State Government to endorse President Tinubu for a second term.

"From the above, you can see that the so-called opposition to President Tinubu are people who are only hungry for power, not food, and cannot influence their own family members. These are clowns, whose states have rejected them, and individuals with businesses that are thriving because of President Tinubu.

"What further evidence do you need to treat them like the jokes they are?"
