Lawyer Aloy Ejimakor has advised the Nigerian Army to carve out a Caliphate for Boko Haram terrorists, instead of begging them to drop their arms.
This was after a report surfaced that the army is pleading with terrorists to drop their arms and embrace peace.
Ejimakor said on X, "You can never defeat terror with this kind of mindset & they will never reconcile with you, because their terrorism is a jihad or a political ideology that seeks to create an Islamic theocratic State/Caliphate. So, instead of begging for some reconciliation that will never happen, you might as well carve out a Caliphate for them (in the far North), so that the rest of the people can live in peace."
In another post, Ejimakor cited the recent terrorist attack in Mali, saying it indicates that there can never be repentant terrorists.
He said, "As terrorists have overrun northern Mali & poised to capture its capital, it proves that soft-pedalling on terror, as Mali was previously doing, always backfires. Nigerian authorities should know that there’s no such thing as a “repentant” terrorist. Mali is a stark example."
