Alleged IPOB members gunned down in Abia

Five members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have been reported killed at the Palace of Eze Aro in Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State.

The incident took place on Wednesday, October 20 as the trial of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu commenced.

The five members of the proscribed group were killed by soldiers whiles the IPOB group tried to enforce their sit-at-home directive in support of their leader’s trial.

As a result of the shooting between the soldiers and the IPOB members, the entire Eze Aro community were left in a state chaos.
