All the 'expensive' trips I have taken since I assumed office is for Nigeria – Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has said that all the trips he took since he assumed office was in the interest of Nigeria.

He said this during his address to Nigerians on New Year’s Day.

Tinubu noted that his mandate is to make the nation a prosperous and economically viable one.

He said:

“Everything I have done in the office, every decision I have taken, and every trip I have undertaken outside the shores of our land, since I assumed office on May 29, 2023, I have done in the best interest of our country.

Tinubu said he has always told foreign investors on Nigeria's readiness and availability for business.

“On every foreign trip I have embarked on, my message to investors and other business people has been the same. Nigeria is ready and open for business.”

The President also mentioned that he is aware that the citizens are frustrated as a result of the hardship in the country.

Adding that some already question his renewed hope agenda. He urged Nigerians to remain hopeful among his plans for the country.
