All shops must be closed- Police issue warning to Lagos shop owners

Lagos Lagos

The Lagos division of the Nigerian Police Force has told all shop owners in the state to keep their shops closed.

This coming on the back of the Presidential order that directed Lagos and Ogun states to be on total lockdown.

Clarifying this new directive, the Force told residents that the state will no longer tolerate anyone opening their shop during this period.

It said that grace period of opening shops was for the partial lockdown instituted weeks ago by the Lagos State Governor, Bajide Sanwo-Olu.

Now, it warned residents to stay home and observe the total lockdown.

"What we have now is a total lockdown. All shops must be closed," the Lagos Police Command stressed.
